Director
 Tomb Raider is a best selling game worldwide for the Playstation and the PC. The heroine is Lara Croft, a British Socialite-turned-explorer. She is a female equivalent of Indiana Jones. Her duties invlove trekking around the world to find mythical artifacts for others. In the script for this movie, Jacqueline Natla, is a powerful CEO, who enlists Lara's help to find a mysterious artifact locked in the ancient tomb of Qualopec in Peru. Lara manges to retrieve the artifact, which is said to be one of three pieces of an Atlantean Scion, a talisman of incredible power. At the rendevous with Natla, she is doublecrossed as an attempt is made on her life. She survives and has to figure out where the other two pieces are and figure out, whether they were really responsible for the fate of Atlantis. Expect the inevitable Indian Jones adventure, as Lara tries to solve the mystery of the talisman. |

 Tomb Raider should easily be able to repeat the success, it had as computer games, onto the big screen. Firstly the plot looks interesting enough. Secondly, with the next Indiana Jones movie in limbo, this is the closest we're gonna get to an archaelogical adventure. Thirdly, I can guarantee that many guys will zoom over to the cinemas, once the movie is released, if not to watch the movie as a whole, but to watch the actress playing Lara Croft. Overall, there is absolutely no doubt that Tomb Raider will be a box office success, but don't expect it to be another Raiders Of The Lost Ark, because afterall, it is based on a computer game, and many people will feels that it is too similar to Indiana Jones movies.
