Mel Gibson has a few films out this year. One for laughs, Chicken Run, one stylish noir thriller, Million Dollar Hotel, and one epic blockbuster, this movie. The Patriot is directed by the man who was responsible for the hits Independence Day and Godzilla. This film aims to deliver the action, much in the same way Braveheart did, with an moving story. Should be a hit on the strength of Gibson's name alone.
