A decorated police detective (De Niro) investigating a murder teams up with a fire department investigator (Burns). The murder was committed by someone who was seeking their "15 minutes" of fame, and so as the investigation proceeds, the case receives oversaturation from local media, bringing the detectives in conflict with an abrasive talk show host (Grammer).

Robert De Niro. The greatest living actor. Star of brilliant movies like Taxi Driver, Goodfellas and Raging Bull. However he is not the most bankable actor in the world. Analyze This proved to be a great hit, and no doubt the makers of this movie, want a similar hit. The material is much more serious, but a good ensemble cast should help to pull the movie through.
