Once again Pierce Brosnan returns as James Bond. Judging by reports, this movie looks darker than its predecesors.The story begins with M asking James Bond to fly to Cuba to retrieve a money cache stolen from her close friend, billionaire oil baron Sir Robert King. But upon returning from that mission, he fails to stop the terrorists from getting revenge.They have assassinated King and caused serious damage to MI6 headquarters. Meanwhile the assassin, Renard plans on kidnapping Elektra King, daughter of his victim, in an effort to steal the vast pipelines that Lord King possessed. Bond has to save the mysterious daughter of his late friend, and together with her and his other female confidante, a doctor played by Denise Richards, foil Renard's plan. An interesting twist could occur in the role of Elecktra King, played by Sophie Marceau. It has been reported that she will play the first female Bond villain. If you think about it, maybe she was responsible for her father's death. Just a thought.

It's Bond. Of course it will be a success. Brosnan has twice proven himself worthy of the title of 007. With its provisional title The World Is Not Enough, it seems likely that this film will be even more grand than its predecesors. One thing that really does interest me is the fact that this film is meant to be dark. Bond is supposed to feel more pain and betrayal in this movie than any other, and most people agree that the main culprit will be Elecktra King. Is she a former lover of his? Did she purposely kill her father to get at Bond? I honestly can't wait to find out. Overall, expect a lot of action, many new gadgets and at long last some vulnerablitly in Bond's character.
