This sequel to the smash hit 1995 movie is about toys. To elaborate a little bit more, Woody, voiced by Hanks, is kidnapped by an evil toy collector, when his owner Andy is of at Summer Camp. It seems that Woody is actually a very valuable toy. Fear not, as Buzz Lightyear, voiced by Tim Allen, and the rest of the gang embark on a rescue mission to save Woody.
"We kept thinking about The Godfather Part II," director John Lasseter says. "Yes, it's a great sequel, but it's also a great movie unto itself, and that was our rule." Can a film with this kind of inspiration fail. No way. Toy Story 2 will be a huge hit, however the been there/seen that already feeling may cause it to be less successful than the original. Overall CGI movies have been proven box office winners, so I'm sure Toy Story 2 will be a winner.
