US RELEASE DATE: 15 October 1999 MPAA RATING: R STUDIO: Twentieth Century Fox
Director
:- David Fincher
Brad Pitt stars as Tyler Durden, an anarchist, who creates a society, where young bored men, with a fancy for money and for kicks, fight each other to the death. This creates reprecussions in other levels of society, eventually leading to some action by involved authorities.
I am really not at all sure what to make of this film. The film looks intersting enough and has a good cast. Although Pitt's last movie, Meet Joe Black flopped, one must remember his earlier darker movies, like Kalifornia and of course Se7en, where he excelled. Edward Norton was nominated for an Oscar for his role in American History X, so we know he can act at high level. The director, is a bonus for this movie, as Fincher specialises in dark original movies, like Se7en and The Game, so expect some stylish directing from him. Overall, currently, until I unearth more about the plot, I am unsure about its box office potential.
If you have any reviews of this movie, please and I'll include it on this page.
