Set in New York City on the eve of the millenium, Satan (Byrne) is in town searching for a bride to satisfy his needs, pre-school teacher Christine Bethlehem (Tunney) fits the bill pefectly. However there is also ex-cop, Jericho Crane (Schwarzenegger), who runs an elite security team has found out who he is, and attempts to halt the Devil, in this violent thriller.

There really seems to be a huge amount of movies being churned out, that feature the Devil. For instance Lost Souls, Stigmata and The Ninth Gate all seem like great movies, but will they be great hits. Doubtful as they do not star one of Hollywood's most bankable stars, Arnold Schwarzenneger. For me End Of Days will be a box office hit, as the premise seems interesting enough, although I don't have any idea how Arnie would know if the Devil was in town, and the special fx look outstanding.
